- The paper proposes a novel design of Frequency Selective Surfaces that allows very low loss dual-band filtering of circularly polarised signals. This design sponsored by the European Space Agency ARTES programme (ITT AO/1-6869/11/NL/NR) is a significant result for the satellite communication industry as it allows replacing multiple instruments within a communication satellite with a single one thus reducing a payload and cost of the instruments.
