- Without my involvement this source would not have been discovered or followed up. I was one of five co-authors who first identified it as a possible extreme system. I led three ATCA runs for redshift determination, identifying it as a dispersed group of SMGs. This motivated the successful ALMA DDT proposal, to which I contributed. I was PI for the ultra-deep Gemini K-band imaging proposal for counterparts. I contributed closely to the scientific analysis in the paper by providing advice and input, in particular to Section 4.4, and helped edit the text in other sections.
