- The work presents a novel solution to minimizing downtime of renewable integration systems through a new fault tolerant methodology with low semiconductor loss. It has the capacity to influence given it is published in one of the renowned journals in the field (IF=2.7). Is one of a suite of related papers underpinning membership of International Council on Large Electric Systems (Cigre) Working Group B4.81 to influence industry practice on AC side interactions of nearby VSC-HVDC systems (contact WG convenor Kamran Sharifabadi kamsh@equinor.com). It formed the basis of international collaborative work with Egypt, leading to 3 further publications.
