- This book presents the results of a study of Somali diasporic media exploring content, producers and consumers. Combining large-scale content analysis and discourse analysis of 167 websites and 10 TV stations, 6 focus groups and interviews with 70+ people, the book develops understandings of how diasporic media content is influenced by conflict dynamics in homelands. The book combines the disciplines of media studies, migration and diaspora studies and peace and conflict studies.
