- Additional information
- The work presented in this paper is the first to provide specific thresholds for diagnostic quality of ultrasound video compression. It is considered to be the reference for anybody who wishes to understand to what extent a medical ultrasound video can be compressed, with the constraint of keeping high diagnostic accuracy. Thus, this research is essential to relevant working groups, for instance the EU Qualinet working group on the quality of medical imaging.
