- Double-weighted statement
- This monograph of over 80,000 words represents a longer form output based on a sustained research effort over six years, including a lengthy period of data collection from archives in both the United States (where the National Archives, Presidential Libraries and the David Bruce papers at the Virginia Historical Society were consulted) and the United Kingdom. The monograph is also interdisciplinary in nature, drawing on questions raised in international relations literature (specifically from the field of diplomatic studies) to explore the role played by ambassadors and embassies in later 20th century diplomacy.
