- In this article we focus on the intelligent routing of Electric Vehicles in need of charging by making most efficient use of the proposed Mobile Energy Disseminators (MEDs) which operate as mobile charging stations. We conduct simulations in city conditions and prove the efficiency of the method. The proposed mechanism is very novel and could become a solution to limited travel range of EVs without the need for large batteries or extremely costly infrastructure. The findings of this article led to an interview by Elsevier and early discussions with car manufacturing companies.
