- This book represents the culmination of a sustained six-year period of research activity, undertaken as part of our Global Resource Observatory and the ESRC Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity projects. It presents the ERRE model, a complex new systems dynamics model designed by the authors enabling global impact assessment to address financial risks emerging from the interaction between economic growth and environmental limits under the presence of shocks. ERRE updates the World3-03 Limits to Growth model. It analyses a large body of global data used for model inputs and validation, and compares sustainable future scenarios by 2100.
