- Light-sheet microscopy was named method of the year by Nature Methods in 2014 (https://dx.doi.org/10.1038/nmeth.3251). This work showed for the first time how ultra-thin multimode fibres can deliver the light-sheet deep within biological samples. This work also led to several invited talks including:
•SPIE, Photonics West, San Francisco, USA
•SPIE, Optical Systems Design, Jena, Germany
•Photonex 15, Coventry, UK
•Innsbruck Medical University, Trends in Optical Manipulation, Obergurgl, Austria
•DFG, Trends in Microscopy, Dresden, Germany
