- 248 page book published by Policy Press. The most detailed discussion so far in the UK of domestic violence and abuse (DVA) in same sex relationships, based on a large-scale study involving a national survey, interviews and focus groups. Excellent data set, handled in a deeply sophisticated way. Provides a substantial, rigorous and innovative addition to empirical and theoretical knowledge in this area with important new intersectional work, new work on community and public knowledge, and replicable measures. As well as this there are detailed sections on implications for different audiences and practices. Very important conclusions drawn about policy relevance.
