- This book is based on research conducted during a first phase of research (2007-11) and additional data gathering as part of a postdoc project (2011-2014). The work is based on a large number of interviews and considerable archival work covering the European Union, China and Vietnam. It is major study of the complexity of international trade governance and legal regulation. The work was funded by a Marie Curie Fellowship and the Research Foundation Flanders.
