- Retrodirective (self-tracking) antennas allow un-stablised moving objects to communicate wirelessly. This paper is the first practical demonstration of hybrid digital/analog technology that operates using low power offered by analogue electronics in conjunction with the security and intelligence available from digital architectures. The work has been funded by the European Space Agency (ESA: AO/1-7474/13/NL/NR) to elevate TRL for use on future space platforms to allow wide view angle mobile broadband communications with shipping and aviation.
