- A pioneering thermography based damage assessment technique to visualise multiple defects in a single image for Non Destructive Testing (NDT) on metals and carbon composite materials. The research contributed to the development of Aerospace Technology Institute’s (ATI) TES Strategy for the aerospace industry sector. This is a UK-wide initiative to improve manufacturing and health monitoring of critical aircraft components during production and maintenance. The new method offers enhanced flexibility and reliability of the inspection and is essential for application of the technology in industry
