- Double-weighted statement
- This is a two-volume set of which the first volume consists of 424 pages, the bulk of these co-authored by Hamilton with her Institute of Archaeology colleague, Emeritus Professor Ruth Whitehouse. The Project’s main aim was to explore the social and sensory use and organisation of landscape and ‘taskscapes’ of the Tavoliere plain and lower slopes of the Gargano. The work combines innovative and traditional methods, including interpretation of aerial photographs, surface survey and mapping, as well as development of approaches for understanding the human experiential aspects of ‘dwelling’ in prehistory (phenomenology/ sensory archaeology).
