- This journal paper identifies four key challenges to utilising crowdfunding to support community-led projects in the context of digital civics. The paper is cited in fields as diverse as video game production (Szopik-Depczyńska et al., Procedia Computer Science '20) and higher education (Murillo-Zamorano et al., Thinking Skills and Creativity '20) to highlight the challenges of crowdfunding we identified. The research led to our third-sector partners expanding their expertise such that they now offer crowdfunding advice and support to diverse community groups (CEO, CAMK, contact details provided).
