- Cited by international standard guide by ASTM medical devices committee (being proposed for full standard) as an exemplar technique. This work directly led to the lead author (PB) being invited by ASTM to coordinate interlaboratory testing of such techniques on their behalf. The software written to perform the analysis detailed in this paper has already been fully commercialised and sold to Taylor Hobson (Graeme.Foulds@ametek.com), a leading metrology company for incorporation into a software measurement package specifically aimed at the medical devices industry.
