- This work, which represents the culmination of research developed with universities from Pakistan and USA, crucially reveals that the existing hierarchical naming scheme in CCN only supports pull communication, and exhibits communication loop problems because of its broadcasting mode. A new hybrid naming scheme was designed that names contents using both hierarchical and flat structure that support both push and pull communication, and provide scalability and security. This research provides a new thinking and opens a new direction in large-scale IoT device bi-directional communication using CCN approach.
