- This paper has significant impact on secure communication systems for emergency and large scale Internet of Things (IoT) using satellites. It describes for the first time a distributed trust management scheme to enable future satellite based IoT systems to be both secure and reliable. A rigorous analytical method and simulation studies were performed to confirm the results. The paper was one of few to be selected and published in the IEEE JSAC Journal 2018, on new technologies in satellite communication. This work paved the way for the EPSRC grant for the PETRAS National Centre of Excellence for IoT Systems Cybersecurity
