- Double-weighted statement
- We are submitting this book for double-weighting for the following reasons: Barbara Prainsack, the lead author on this monograph, worked on it for several years, since an initial Report on solidarity that she lead-authored for the Nuffield Council on Bioethics in 2011. The book details a new conceptualisation of solidarity and includes three case studies of which Barbara contributed two; they, in turn, required detailed empirical research over several years. The book is internationally recognised as one of the leading and most impactful works on contemporary solidarity scholarship worldwide.
