- In this paper, a new FE model using fibre beam-column element has been proposed. The model considers the impact of inelastic bar bucking and low cyclic fatigue. The validation was conducted using experimental data from PEER column database. This model can be used in seismic performance assessment of RC structures. It can significantly increase the accuracy of estimations. One of the advantages of this model in comparison to available lumped plastic is the consideration of axial load interaction.
