- Originally planned for publication November 2020, the output 'Love's Victory' has been delayed by Covid-19 lockdowns and the publisher confirms there has been considerable disrupted working practices, particularly around production, along with the added issue of staff working from home. - This is an authorized full scholarly edition of the unique Penshurst Manuscript (the only complete copy of Love’s Victory, in private ownership). It is co-edited by Findlay (70%) Brennan (15%) and Sidney (15%). The edited play text (19K words), is accompanied by full commentary notes, collations and references (49.5K words) written by Findlay with tweaks by her co-editors. The book has an introduction of (21K words) on date, text, author, family and literary intertexts, stage history and text (all by Findlay) and critical history (by Philip Sidney 3.7K words).
