- The work was realised in collaboration with the industrial partner IEE, S.A. (https://www.iee-sensing.com/en) under the leadership of Alain Schumacher, CTO, as they were interested in investigating a range of new potential technology for their millimetre wave applications (orientable radars for self-driving cars in their case). A follow-up partnership 5-year project was submitted (FNR Core-PPP, 2017), but not funded. This research theme was however continued internally in the institute by interns and post-docs.
