- Stijn Wuyts contributed significantly to the data acquisition, the data analysis and modelling of the integral-field spectra, and analysis of the supporting multi-wavelength data from the 3D-HST survey.
(1) SW contributed to the data acquisition by doing multiple SINFONI and KMOS3D observing runs at Paranal (Chile).
(2) SW expanded the DYSMAL software to generate mock observations of rotating disk models in order to account for the finite thickness of disks at high redshift, halo contributions and the impact of a pressure support component.
(3) SW led the stellar population modelling based on 3D-HST multi-wavelength survey data.
