- This work presents doctoral-level research addressing key management in mobile multicast communication. The resultant research work supported our industrial collaboration with Seven Technologies Group and Harvard Engineering. In this work, a novel and innovative GKM protocol for multiple multicast groups is proposed, called slot based multiple group key management (SMGKM), that secures group communication for just a single group service. The novel concept formed part of the research carried out by Trust Mapoka (2016), who has been appointed to a lectureship at Botswana International University and lead consultant at Cyber Intelligence Agency Pty Ltd.
