- Double-weighted statement
- I would like my monograph ‘Imperial History and the Global Politics of Exclusion: Britain, 1880-1940’ to be double-weighted because it entailed the collection and analysis of a large body of material. Many of the primary sources used for this eight-chapter book were located in archives in the UK, the United States, and Canada, necessitating several lengthy research trips and overseas relocation during a four-year data gathering process. My book also covers a sixty-year period of history and reinterprets the systemic politics of the modern British Empire as a whole, which increased the time needed to research and write it.
