- This research has impacted the state of the art by reducing the cost of 3D imaging and with improved accuracy. This work led to a number of industry collaborations (e.g. CADScan Ltd), invited talks, and contributed to a survey paper https://bit.ly/2J5Oe4i on IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics. This research on 3D imaging formed the foundation to obtain several grants, e.g. Innovate UK(104016) Agri-robot, KTP(11997) machine vision for food manufacture industry and EPSRC CDT-EI(EP/L014998/1) autonomous underwater vehicle.
