- Published in the leading international venue for HCI, this paper represents one of the first explorations of how users will react with agent based smart systems in domestic settings. The significance of this paper is in illustrating the importance of providing interface that promote understanding and interpretability to allow AI systems and users to work collaboratively. This development of this approach was recognised by a national award from The Engineer (https://www.theengineer.co.uk/collaborate-to-innovate-winners-annnounced/).
