- Additional information
- The research presented in this paper was conducted in collaboration with the Met Office (Prof Adam Scaife A.A.Scaife@exeter.ac.uk) and significantly increased the Met Office’s capacity for long range winter forecasting for the North Atlantic. The output has received significant attention by researchers, the media and has been included in policy documents for the UK govt. & World Meteorological Organization (see - https://wiley.altmetric.com/details/2217227). It has also led to further high profile follow up articles (see: https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586-020-2525-0)
