- This research is presented in a longer-form output, in the shape of a book. The focus of the project is an investigation of considerable depth into English teaching in the 1960s and 1970s. A Life History methodological approach was adopted for the project, which demanded a study of considerable depth, with participants’ experiences considered from different perspectives, and in relation to different contexts. Participants were interviewed multiple times, about different periods in their lives and careers, demonstrating sustained research effort and the collection and analysis of a large body empirical evidence.
