- The paper presents a new physics-based engineering model for calculating peak overpressures in vented explosions of hydrogen, applicable to realistic accident scenarios. The model has been accepted for inclusion in the next release of European Standard EN14994 (Committee contact: kees.van.wingerden@gexcon.com) and the equivalent Chinese standard (contact: jyzh@zju.edu.cn) for venting for explosion mitigation. The work was funded by Horizon 2020 project HySEA 671461 (€450.4K of €1.5M).
