- Additional information
- Engineered nanocrystals, presented in this paper, can directly convert near-infrared (NIR) to visible light, and eliminate the need to convert light to electrons [Australia-Patent No.2017203205, and USA-Patent App.16/612,714]. Therefore, one will see the additional currently invisible information - the ripeness of fruits, species health, and objects in the dark. This technology will be developed by UKRI Future Leader Fellowship (MR/T040513/1), awarded to Mohsen Rahmani.
