- This book is the culmination of 7 years of research in the emerging domain of macroprudential regulation and supervision. The book draws on a wide range of disciplines including, economics, political science and organisational behaviour to clarify the legal, institutional and governance needs of macroprudential policy making. The book grounds the normative discussion in context and explores macroprudential frameworks at the national, regional and global levels . It explains the law through the prisms of conflictual elements, trade-offs and asymmetries, providing a systematic and comprehensive analytical framework designed to influence and guide the design and implementation of macroprudential policy.
