- The work described in this paper was key to the University of Nottingham (UoN) becoming involved in the Clean Sky 2 JTI (https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/aerospace/projects/cleansky/index.aspx, total approx. EUR50M), following UoN's involvement in Clean Sky JTI project (total GBP10.7 M) under which this work was undertaken. The first author of this paper also received the ‘Best PhD of the Year’ award in the Clean Sky JTI, beating other PhD students from the associated projects in institutions across Europe.
