- This 120,000 word monograph was the result of an in-depth, comparative investigation over several years of religion, gender and citizenship in Europe from different perspectives (Christianity and Islam; ethnic minority and majority groups) and in different contexts (Norway, Spain and the UK). The research includes sixty-one semi-structured interviews with church- and mosque going women who are difficult to access.
