- The work described in this research paper provided the basis for the development of a novel, low noise switch mode power supply, offering improved electromagnetic noise reduction when compared to existing approaches. This is of particular benefit for certain types of electronic equipment where the noise floor must be kept to an absolute minimum. It has been used, for example, in the development and application of high-end audio products by the sponsoring company Naim Audio.
