- This study was a multicentre neuroimaging study collaboration. Anna Murphy was the lead post-doctoral research associate in Manchester. Anna was part of the study steering committee, wrote the study standard operating procedures and travelled regularly to each site to oversee data collection. Anna led the building of a recruitment website and regularly attended drug and alcohol groups for recruitment purposes. Anna collected all the neuroimaging and clinical data that was generated in Manchester (with the assistance of a PhD student) and critiqued the output for important intellectual content (see author statement in the output).
