- Double-weighted statement
- This website by REID is offered as Double-weighted. It is an electronic, fully-searchable critical edition and translation of 11 major Scottish neo-Latin poets from the Delitiae Poetarum Scotorum, comprising 335,000 words of primary material, here translated for the first time, including every major Latin poem written about James VI and I in Scotland to 1603. The site also has 21 short feature essays - 11 with REID as sole author, and 3 as co-author, all edited by REID. It is thus not only a major piece of original research and a scholarly edition; it also constitutes significant analytical research output.
