- A novel microgrid-control scheme is developed for energy storage systems and power inverters in ac microgrids to improve the stability of the dc-link voltage and the resilience of the microgrid to any unplanned islanding. The proposed approach also provided the main idea for one work package in a research project on the development of a resilient control strategy for PV based medium voltage microgrids funded by the KSA International Collaborative Fund (value $500k, 2020)
