- This paper combines experimental work and CFD modelling to advance the design of three phase separators. The paper was used to develop collaboration with DarbyTech Ltd., who produce demonstrator equipment for the oil and gas sector. The company jointly funds a PhD student through an ERDF scheme (34R17P02148) to apply this work to refine the design of their demonstrator. This collaboration has developed further to look at augmented reality and new apparatus in the hydrogen sector (Director, DarbyTech Ltd.).
