- Additional information
- The algorithm presented in this paper is significant as it avoids the computational cost of Lagrangian particle tracking. It has since been implemented in the Rolls-Royce Plc Hydra CFD code to provide capability for prediction of high altitude icing in turbofan engines. This follow on work is reported in 10.2514/1.J054981 with Rolls-Royce co-authorship.
