- This paper shows that through a year-long deployment and participatory research with dementia care staff, wall-sized displays are extensively and innovatively used to support residents’ personhood. The work received CHI 2019 Honourable Mention Award, and was developed in collaboration with Heathfield care Home whose work practices have been strongly impacted and they continue to use the display system created. This collaboration will continue through the £3.7M EPSRC Digital economy Centre: Future Places, and this success is now in the process of being replicated by installing wall-sized displays in a Lancaster hospice and an Age UK centre in Manchester.
