- This monograph reports the results of the six-year (2003 – 2009) Stonehenge Riverside Project, a high-profile investigation of Stonehenge and surrounding sites of which Richards was a co-director. Richards initially developed the project with Mike Parker Pearson, and this first co- authored monograph charts the main areas of research (stones in the landscape, and Stonehenge stones and their dressing) for which Richards’ was responsible within the project, hence, the double-weighting of this particular volume. Richards wrote many sections, and contributed to many more in the monograph, he also co-edited the remaining sections.
