- Additional information
- Novel proposal for timetable optimization to increase utilization of regenerative energy and, simultaneously, to shorten passenger waiting time. This work has been funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and attracted funding from EU and Welsh government for continued research. Published in IEEE T-ITS, the flagship journal for Intelligent Transportation. This work has inspired many follow-on developments and has become a benchmark that a large body of further research compares against, with a significant amount of such work published in top-tier journals such as IEEE ITS, IEEE TFS, TRB, and TRC.
