- This paper unifies a wide range of theoretical results on entropy as well as establishing new properties. Culmination of two peer-reviewed conference papers which appeared in IEEE CSF (Computer Security Foundation) 2016 and CSF2017. IEEE IT is the most esteemed venue in the field of information theory. This paper has also been the grounds for three follow-up papers, one appeared in IEEE CSF 2019, one in a Festschrift book in honour of Professor Catuscia Palamidessi, and a follow-up journal paper that has appeared in IEEE IT in 2020 titled “Conditional Entropy and Data Processing: an Axiomatic Approach Based on Core-Concavity”.
