- Edwards was the equal co-editor of this book with Sarah Burnage, a former York PhD. He was the single author of one of the volume's two introductions, ‘Sculpture Victorious, or The British School, c.1760-1834' (pp. 1-21), and of a chapter, 'John Charles Felix Rossi's Cornwallis Monument and the Colonial Cosmopolitanism of the British School' (pp. 188-209). The volume derives from a conference originally organised by the department, following which Edwards jointly selected papers for inclusion, commissioned a number of essays, and saw the volume through the press.
