- Published in a leading CS journal, this paper focuses on the important and timely issue of multi-cloud brokerage, the main innovation being the use of transfer learning in significantly reducing overheads associated with learning application-specific models. This work was supported by Amazon Web Services’ research grant (value $10,000) and led to a successful EPSRC grant, involving Lancaster University and University of St Andrews, on Adaptive Brokerage for the Cloud (EP/R010889/£388,701). The authors have also organised a successful series of workshops on CrossCloud Infrastructure and Platforms, with the 6th instance held in 2019.
