- Double-weighted statement
- The authors use the scope of a book-length study to develop a systematic exploration of set of complex but well-integrated themes on the mobility of professional families. It merits double weighting because of its rigorous approach to a range of research methods (including narrative research), meticulously explained, carefully set up, and comprehensively analysed through detailed and novel forms of data representation. Its thorough articulation of a sophisticated set of analytical tools brings together multiple theoretical concepts that contribute to understanding ‘mobility’, carefully developing new analytical concepts whose in-depth articulation, defence and application enables the book to move the field forward.
