- This six-chapter, 195-page, 70,000 word monograph is the product of three years' empirical research, which involved the detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of some 1,600 articles from the British news media. The research is organised into three case studies, each of which compares and contrasts the reporting of a particular economic/business issue by three different news organisations. The work is characterised by considerable depth, complexity and scale.
