- The latest molecular dynamics (MD) force-field (parmBSC1) for atomistic modelling of nucleic acids, corrects known artefacts in the previous incarnation (parmBSC0). Simulations of DNA minicircles, which were performed by Noy (PDRA) and Harris, were chosen as an exemplar system for validation of the new parameter set as Harris has established minicircles as essential test systems for assessing the performance of new DNA force-fields.
