- Additional information
- Human needs are ultimately met through utilisation of natural resources; sustainable systems require high efficiency in resource use, reduced wastes through closing cycles and ideally the use of local (renewable) resources. This work is significant in developing a mathematical modelling framework with wide applicability, as system boundaries are not pre-defined, but follow the processes and sub-processes relevant, with high degree of disaggregation.
